GOODRIDGE TEFLON HOSE
Stainless steel Teflon hose with an internal diameter of 3.5 mm and an overall diameter of 7.5 mm. Braided with stainless steel; designed for use in brake and clutch systems. Hoses and fittings in the AN-04, AN-06 and AN-08 600 series are available in medium- and high-pressure variants. Compatible with reusable and crimp fittings, requiring specialist equipment. The PTFE lining is braided with stainless steel to provide a consistent feel to the brake and clutch pedals/levers, eliminating any sponginess that may be found with the equivalent rubber hose. A version is available in which the stainless steel braid is encased in an abrasion-resistant sheath that can be wiped clean with a cloth.
Note: Temperature affects the maximum operating pressure specified; for temperatures above 130°C, reduce the operating pressure by 0.75% for every degree above 130°C. Maximum 260°C.
