NMB spherical joints and Rodobal

The Nmb and Rodobal spherical bearings are distinguished by their fastening system, bevelled and V-grooved. Bevelled bearings require the use of a circlip (seeger) for locking. V-grooved ones (distinguishable by the V suffix in the code) are also characterised by a V-shaped groove on the outer ring which allows for installation by staking. Special staking tools are available on request. Nmb bearings are designed and engineered for aerospace use. Therefore, they use a Teflon liner with a very low friction coefficient and resistance to high temperatures (-54°C to 121°C), which requires no maintenance or lubrication.
