MOCAL CT3 1-LITRE TANK
Mocal 1-litre oil recovery tank. Oil and oil vapours from the engine’s breather pipes are normally burnt off and returned to the intake system. In a racing car, this is not ideal because engines can produce more vapours, which could reduce performance. The solution to this is to fit a recovery tank. Mocal’s high-quality aluminium alloy recovery tanks are designed to be mounted on the chassis and feature two 13mm (1/2“) connections for linking to the engine’s breather pipes. The special cap allows the reservoir to breathe without any oil leakage, and a pressure gauge (not included) on the side lets you know when it is time to drain the reservoir via the drain plug at the bottom. To facilitate fitting, the tank inlets can be fitted on either side of the tank using the supplied sealing plugs.
