LIFELINE ZERO360 EXTINGUISHER SYSTEM
The Lifeline Zero360 Novec 1230 electrical 3 kg extinguishing system. Increasingly, categories are required to use systems approved to the new FIA 8865 standard. Housed within a single aluminium cylinder, the extinguishing agent is discharged into both the engine and the cockpit. It is activated using the same control box, which continuously monitors the integrity of the systems and the internal battery. The extinguishing system is connected in the cockpit and to the engine, using high-quality aluminium tubing and lightweight aluminium fittings. In the engine bay, furthermore, the system discharges the 3M NOVEC extinguishing agent through a high nozzle to quickly extinguish fires. This is all supported by two additional extinguishing liquid dispersal points, which utilise Lifeline's patented “dual flow” technology. The Lifeline system has the advantage of allowing the addition of two further extinguishing diffusers to be installed.
